Clear the store cache under var/cache and all cookies for your store domain. Disable compilation for Magento 1.4+. This step eliminates almost all potential problems. It's necessary since Magento uses cache heavily.

Backup Your Data

Backup your store database and web directory.

Download and Extract

Upload Files

Step 1

Navigate inside the Web2Market_ProductPicker directory. There are 3 folders Use your FTP client to upload the content of app and skin folders to your store root. The third folder is template specific so you need to upload that to the app->design/frontend->[your template]->default->template->catalog->product->view

Step 2

Refresh your Magento admin by logging out and then back in.

Step 3

Refresh the sites cache and re-index site.

Step 4

Verify extension has been installed and is enabled by checking System >Configuration >Advance > Web2Market_ProductPicker

There are three main areas to configure. First is skin->frontend->base->default->images->web2market->productpicker. You will see two image types (jpg, png) and text files (txt).

  1. Product thumbnail images are in .png format go in the "/skin/frontend/base/default/images/web2market/productpicker/" folder and are named after the option name with spaces(" ") replaced by under scores("_") and all special characters removed. For example the option "Orange You Glad I Said Carrot?" would have a corresponding image named "Orange_You_Glad_I_Said_Carrot.png".
  2. Rollover text/html is pulled from text files stored in the same folder as the thumbnail images and named the same way, only with an extension of ".txt" rather than ".png".
  3. Image sizes are 75x75px

  1. The extension comes preloaded with example images and text. You will have to go in and replace those images and text with the images and text you wish to have on your site.

Second is the admin area in Magento. To add a new option/juice selection follow these steps:

  1. On the edit product page click "Custom Options" on the left menu.

  2. Click "Add New Option" on the top right and give your option a name.

  3. Select "Radio Buttons" from the "Input Type" drop down menu.

  4. Select "No" from the "Is Required" drop down menu.

  5. Ignore "Max Count", it is not used for this.

  6. Add a new row using the "Add New Row" button, always add a row for "0".

  7. The number of rows you add will be reflected in the number of boxes shown in the product picker table on the product page. If you are configuring an 8 juice weekly package add a row for 0-8 for a total of 9 rows.

  8. Please note the “Title” must match the image description in order for the product image and description to pull to the public side of the website.
    1. public side of the website.

The last area to make changes is where you uploaded the theme specific files in app->design/frontend->[your template]->default->template->catalog->product->view

To change text on the frontend of the website open the options.phtml on line 241.

After the extension installation the store gives an error, or blank page, or suggests starting Magento installation procedure.
